Is Skin Script Good Skincare? An Esthetician’s 8 Favorite Products

Is Skin Script Good Skincare? An Esthetician’s 8 Favorite Products

After more than 20 years in the skincare industry, these are the Skin Script products I actually recommend.

I’ve been an esthetician for more than 20 years, so as you can probably imagine, I’ve used a lot of skincare.

And one thing I’ve learned?

More isn’t always better. Better is better.

I don’t think you need a bathroom counter covered in products or a complicated 12-step routine to take good care of your skin. You need the right products for your skin, used consistently.

That’s one of the reasons I’ve continued to work with Skin Script over the years.

I use Skin Script professionally, I sell it in my spa, and I’ve had the opportunity to see how these products fit into real skincare routines with real clients.

So when I decided to bring Skin Script to Sienna Wellness Co., I didn’t want to upload an enormous catalog just because I could.

I chose eight products.

The cleansers, toner, serums, exfoliant, and moisturizers that I genuinely know, love, sell, and recommend.

So if you’re new to Skin Script and wondering where to start, here are my favorites.

1. Green Tea Citrus Cleanser

Best for: A fresh, antioxidant-rich everyday cleanse

There is something so satisfying about a cleanser that leaves your skin feeling clean without giving you that tight, stripped feeling afterward.

Green Tea Citrus Cleanser is a foaming cleanser made with green tea extract, botanical ingredients, and fruit-derived oils. It gently removes impurities while providing antioxidant support and helping maintain a balanced-looking complexion.

I especially like this one for someone who wants a refreshing everyday cleanser that still respects the skin.

Sienna’s take: If you like that fresh, really-clean feeling but don't want your cleanser to be overly harsh, start here.

2. Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleanser

Best for: Dry, dehydrated, sensitive-looking skin and makeup removal

This one is completely different from Green Tea Citrus.

Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleanser has a creamier, more nourishing feel and contains pomegranate and grape seed extracts along with plant-derived oils.

I personally love this cleanser for removing eye makeup because it’s gentle and comfortable on the skin.

I like it so much that I actually include a sample in the take-home kits I give my microblading clients.

Sienna’s take: If your skin tends to feel dry, sensitive, or uncomfortable after cleansing, this is the cleanser I’d look at first.

3. Cucumber Hydration Toner

Best for: Hydration, comfort and pretty much anyone whose skin is thirsty

Okay, this one has receipts.

Cucumber Hydration Toner is our #1-selling skincare product at my spa.

Clients LOVE it.

This award-winning toner helps replenish hydration after cleansing or exfoliation while conditioning and softening the skin. It also helps prepare the skin for whatever you’re applying next, whether that's a serum or moisturizer.

And at $28, it’s one of those products that’s incredibly easy to add to an existing routine.

Sienna’s take: If you're brand new to Skin Script and want one easy product to try, this is one of the first ones I'd recommend. There's a reason my clients keep buying it.

4. Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum

Best for: Dryness, dehydration and plumper-looking skin

This stuff is AMAZING.

Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum is another bestseller at my spa. It's a peptide-infused serum designed to deliver serious hydration and help skin look smoother, softer, and more supple.

It also helps improve the appearance of fine lines associated with dehydration, which is important because sometimes what we interpret as “aging” is being emphasized by skin that simply needs more hydration.

Sienna’s take: When someone's skin looks dull or feels dry and depleted, this is one of the products I love reaching for.

5. Triple C Serum

Best for: Radiance, uneven-looking tone and an anti-aging routine

If you ask me to pick my absolute favorite Skin Script product, here she is.

Triple C Serum.

I LOVE a good stabilized vitamin C serum in an anti-aging skincare routine.

This formula contains three stabilized forms of vitamin C, along with peptides, green tea extract, and CoQ10. It's designed to provide antioxidant support while helping improve the appearance of radiance, uneven tone, texture, and fine lines.

Basically, this little bottle checks a lot of my boxes.

Sienna’s take: If you're asking me which serum I'd personally choose when the goal is brighter, smoother, more radiant-looking skin, this is it.

6. Retinol Exfoliating Scrub

Best for: Dullness, rough texture and an occasional skin refresh

This award-winning exfoliant combines 2% retinol with fine jojoba beads, giving you both physical exfoliation and the benefits of retinol in one treatment.

It helps polish the skin's surface and improve the appearance of uneven texture and dullness while conditioning ingredients help maintain skin comfort.

But this is where I put on my esthetician hat and remind you:

More exfoliation is not better exfoliation.

This isn't something you need to scrub your face with every day. Follow the directions, introduce retinol thoughtfully, and wear your SPF.

Sienna’s take: When skin is looking dull or feeling rough and needs a good refresh, this is a beautiful treatment to work into the right routine.

7. Acai Berry Moisturizer

Best for: Lightweight daytime hydration

This is my favorite daytime moisturizer from Skin Script.

Acai Berry Moisturizer contains acai berry extract, plant-based oils, and soothing botanical ingredients that help support hydration and skin comfort without making the skin feel overly heavy.

That last part is exactly why I love it during the day.

You want hydration, but you don't necessarily want to feel like you're wearing a thick night cream underneath everything else.

Sienna’s take: Soft, hydrated, comfortable skin without the heaviness. This is the moisturizer I'd reach for during the day.

8. Peptide Moisturizer

Best for: Rich nighttime hydration, dry skin and mature-looking skin

And if Acai Berry is my daytime girl, Peptide Moisturizer is my nighttime girl.

This is a richer cream formulated with peptides, botanical oils, and antioxidant-supportive ingredients. It helps deeply hydrate and nourish the skin while improving the appearance of smoothness and fine lines associated with dryness.

I especially love this one when skin needs something richer and more comforting at the end of the day.

Sienna’s take: This is my favorite Skin Script moisturizer for nighttime. Apply it, go to bed, and let your skincare routine be DONE. 😂

So, Is Skin Script Worth It?

For me, the answer is yes, but skincare is never about finding one brand that's magically perfect for everyone.

It's about finding products that make sense for your skin, your concerns, your lifestyle, and your budget.

That's also why I didn't bring every Skin Script product into Sienna Wellness Co.

I chose eight.

These are products I know. Products I sell in my spa. Products my clients come back for. And several are products I personally love enough to use or recommend over and over again.

If I wouldn't stand behind it, it doesn't belong here.

Not Sure Where to Start? Here’s What I’d Choose

If your skin is dry or dehydrated, I'd start with Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleanser, Cucumber Hydration Toner, Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum, and Peptide Moisturizer.

If your focus is radiance and visible signs of aging, I'd look at Green Tea Citrus Cleanser, Triple C Serum, and Acai Berry Moisturizer, with Retinol Exfoliating Scrub incorporated appropriately into your routine.

And if you're simply curious about Skin Script and want to try one product first?

Cucumber Hydration Toner.

It's our #1 seller for a reason. 🥒

A Thought From the Treatment Room

After more than two decades of working with skin, I've learned that good skincare doesn't need to be intimidating.

You don't need every trending product you see online.

You don't need ten serums.

And you definitely don't need to completely change your routine every time TikTok discovers a new ingredient.

Start with the basics. Pay attention to your skin. Be consistent. And when you're ready to add something new, choose it because it actually has a purpose in your routine.

That's how I approach skincare with my clients, and that's how I'm approaching every product I bring into Sienna Wellness Co.

Take care of yourself. You deserve it. 🤍
